We wanted a plate frame we'd actually be proud to put on our own car. Everything on the market felt cheap, loud, or looked like it belonged on a rental. So we made one ourselves.

How does the swappable strip work?
The logo strip fits out without tools. Keep the frame, change the look in under a minute.
Is FRAME design protected?
Yes. FRAME is registered as an EU Registered Community Design under EUIPO, registration number 015064785. The unique FRAME design is legally protected across all 27 EU member states. Registered by KILLTHEFRAME OÜ, Estonia.
How do I send my logo or design?
After checkout, send your logo, name or reference file with your order number to info@plateframes.eu. We accept SVG, PNG, PDF or any image format. Not sure what to send? Just describe your idea and we'll help.
Will I approve the design before production?
Yes. We send a design preview within 48 hours of receiving your artwork. Production only starts after you confirm the layout. You can request adjustments before approval. No surprises.
What plate sizes does FRAME fit?
- FRAME CAR fits standard EU 520 × 113 mm plates — used in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy and most EU countries.
- FRAME BIKE fits standard EU 177 × 101 mm motorcycle plates.
⚠️ Finland uses a non-standard format (442 × 118 mm) — not compatible with FRAME CAR in Phase 1.
How does installation work?
FRAME attaches with hook & loop mounting. The base frame is secured to the car with 2 screws (included). Installs in under 5 minutes. Mounting screws included. Removes cleanly — leaves no permanent marks on your vehicle.
Should I order 1 or 2 for my car?
Most cars have 2 plates — front and rear. The pair setup gives your vehicle a complete, finished look from both ends.
Standard pair at 95€ is the recommended setup. Single at 49€ is for one plate only. Custom frames are priced separately.
